Every event is unique, and we build every performance around your atmosphere, style, and timeline.
Below are answers to the most commonly asked questions — if you'd like bespoke options or have something particular in mind, we’d love to hear from you.
Booking & Logistics
How far in advance should I book?
Dates can fill up quickly, especially weekends and peak wedding season, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
If your event is happening soon, feel free to enquire as we regularly accommodate last-minute bookings.
What information do you need to confirm a booking?
To secure your date, we’ll just need:
- Event date & location
- Event timings & schedule
- Type of performance (sax, DJ + sax, roaming, etc.)
- Any special requests or key moments (e.g. first dance)
A signed agreement and deposit then confirm the booking.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit secures your date, with the balance due within 14 days of the event completion, unless agreed upon otherwise.
Where do you travel to?
Performances take place across the UK and internationally. Travel is quoted based on location, and international bookings will include flight and accommodation arrangements where required.
Do you perform at international events?
International bookings are always welcome, and I frequently perform across Europe and beyond.
What happens if we need to change the date?
If your date changes and I’m available, I will simply transfer the booking to the new date. If not, I can help recommend trusted musicians from a collection of London’s finest.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are included in your booking agreement for full clarity.

What happens if you're ill on the day?
In the extremely unlikely event I am unable to perform, I guarantee a like-for-like replacement from my professional network, and a 15% discount off of your remaining balance.
Performance & Setup
How long do you perform for?
Our packages vary, and performances are typically between 1–5 hours live sax across the event, plus DJ options into the night.
How long do you require for setup?
Setup takes approximately 60–90 minutes, depending on the package and equipment required.
We handle everything discreetly and coordinate with your venue or planner.
Can we extend the performance on the day?
Where schedule allows, additional time can be added on the day and payment will be taken immediately via contactless card payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.
Do you provide music during breaks?
Curated playlists run seamlessly when there is a break from live performance and are all stored offline, meaning that there is no chance for interrupion where there is limited internet access.
Do you need a soundcheck?
For the majoirty of bookings, we only require a quick line check to ensure that the equipment is working correctly.
This can often be done without your guests awareness even when they are present.
If a soundcheck is required then this will be completed during the setup window and coordinated around your schedule.
Can you perform multiple sets throughout the day?
Performances can be spread across the day in tailored segments to suit your flow, and we can arrange as many sets of music as you desire.
Can you work alongside other musicians/DJs/bands?
My work entails regularly performing with DJs, bands, percussionists and other musicians so this can absolutely be arranged.
A full DJ + Sax package with other addons can also be provided.
Do you offer a roaming sax performance?
Fully wireless roaming sax is available, perfect for drinks receptions, entrances and high-energy moments on the dance floor.
This can be either acoustic or amplified to suit the space and atmosphere of your event.
Can you perform indoors and outdoors?
We perform indoors and outdoors, and have battery-powered options available so the music can be fully mobile and flexible with location.
Music & Requests
What genres and styles of music can you play?
Everything, from Ibiza anthems, house and garage, to jazz, soul, R&B, chart hits, classics and world music.
Music is fully tailored to both you and your guests, and live requests are encouraged.
Do you take requests on the day?
Requests are actually one of my main strengths. I have excellent pitch recognition and play fluently by ear, so you can request in the moment and I can jump straight in.
Can we send a song list or do-not-play list?
You can share tracks you definitely want included, and we can also exclude any music that you’d like avoided. I’ll shape the performance around your taste.
Can you learn a specific song for us?
Any special songs can be learnt, whether it’s a first dance, a ceremony entrance, or a special request, we can perform any custom arrangement to create the perfect moment.
Can you curate music for different parts of the event?
This is a pivotal part of the organisation so the music evolves naturally throughout the event, and can be tailored as much or as little as you wish.
Are you able to mix live sax with our venue/club DJ?
I specialise in live sax with DJs and can collaborate seamlessly with your DJ on the night.
Alternatively, I can provide the full DJ + Sax experience with even more addons.
Do you provide a karaoke service?
We can provide a full karaoke outfit along with screen, so you and your guests can be part of the entertainment.
Do you play any other instruments?
Yes — in addition to both Alto and Tenor Saxophone, I play:
- Flute
- Clarinet
- Trumpet
- Piano & Keys (select parts)
- Percussion
- Backing Vocals
- Live looping + song creation
This allows for a very versatile and layered live performance if desired.
Equipment & Technical
What equipment do you provide?
Our equipment roster contains a full professional sound system, DJ console, wireless sax setup, lighting options and playback equipment. If the venue already has a suitable system, I can integrate with their setup.
Are you fully insured and PAT tested?
Public Liability Insurance up to £10million with full worldwide cover, and all electronic equipment is PAT tested — suitable for all venues.
What are your power and space requirements?
Space requirements vary by venue and setup and we’re used to being very adaptable.
Power-wise, we work with standard mains supply and bring all required adapters.
We also have battery-powered systems for outdoor and roaming setups, offering maximum flexibility.
Do you supply your own PA system?
Professional-grade sound system available upon request, with the ability to secure specialist equipment should you require it.
Do you provide lighting?
Ambient and party lighting options available, from small outfits to full lighting rigs.
Do you need access to the venue beforehand?
Access is required ideally 60–90 mins prior to performance, down to as little as 15 minutes, allowing for quick changeovers if schedule dependent.
We coordinate timings directly with your venue or planner.
Can you connect to the venue’s PA?
If required, we can connect to a venue’s or DJ’s system using standard industry connectors. We will always be in touch with the venue beforehand to confirm all technical details, to ensure there are no suprises on the day.
We will always try to use our equipment as a preference, to ensure the absolute best sound quality and experience for your event.
Do you offer wireless microphones for speeches?
Wireless microphones for speeches or karaoke, along with professional grade PA systems and full sound packages are available.
Do you have backup equipment?
We always carry backup gear to ensure performance continuity.

Am I allowed to take photographs and videos?
Capture as much footage as you like during the event and we are happy to share any footage that we record also.
Also feel free to tag us if you share — it really helps us out!
Do you offer video and content creation during the event?
If you’d like behind-the-scenes content or social-ready footage, we can arrange a dedicated content creator to capture the magic.
Event Management
Do you offer personalised music consultations?
For consultations, we can meet virtually or in person if required to shape the perfect soundtrack for your event and tailor the energy from start to finish.
Can you match our dress code or theme?
We always match the aesthetic with the vibe of your event, whether it’s black tie, chic modern, festival, white party, themed events or even something wacky!
Do you coordinate with venue managers and planners?
Communication is paramount to the fluidity of your event, so we work closely with planners, venues, production and AV teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and seamlessly.
Can you provide your stage plot and tech rider?
A comprehensive plot and rider are available for planners and production teams upon request.
Do you arrive with a team/assistant for setup?
Setup is usually handled solo to keep things discreet, but an assistant or crew member is provided whenever required by the logistics.
